Experience
I see tutoring as an opportunity for students to receive one-on-one attention they don't get in the classroom. I am an experienced Spanish tutor who has previously worked at the Kumon Learning Center and Karen Dillard's College Prep. Additionally I tutored other students while I was an undergrad. I can say that this has allowed me to work with every age group there is, from 3-year-olds to college students. I know that there can be nothing more intimidating to a student than trying to understand a difficult concept, when it seems like everybody else already understands it, which is why I am here to help. I always try to make students feel at ease, so that they are comfortable asking questions and won't be discouraged when they make mistakes. As a first-time father, I understand that everyone is unique, and it's important to provide them with encouragement so that they remain enthusiastic about the work. In addition to Spanish, I can provide tutoring services in Writing, Social Studies, and SAT prep. When I'm not working or chasing my toddler around the house, I enjoy football, running, and cooking.
